A Partnership in Sports Innovation
Welcome to Quicksand Sports Limited. We are a company based in the UK with Global aspirations to bring Innovation and digital solutions to sports products. We believe in providing high-quality products and excellent customer service to enable players and sports organisations to maximise their potential. Owned by 2 ex-CEO’s of long term successful businesses, we hope to bring our adaptability and quick-to-market responses to racket sports over the coming years.
THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX
Our first product partner is Quicksand Srl based in Grosseto, Italy. Formed in 2009, to provide products for the beach tennis market, they expanded in 2021 into developing and manufacturing rackets, balls, clothing and equipment for padel (fastest growing sport in the world) and pickleball (fastest growing sport in North America). One of the company owners, Luca Bidolli, has been the Beach Tennis World Champion on 2 occasions and captained Italy in the 2013 and 2014 European Championships. They bring innovation in design and performance to their rackets, featuring their unique ‘anti-vibration’ system to many of them.
THINK INSIDE THE BOX
Our second partner is Vending Sport Limited based in Zagreb, Croatia. Formed by an ex-professional and Davis Cup tennis player, Ivan Vajda, they have taken the vending concept and developed it for the sports products market, bringing innovation and digitalisation to sports venues to a new level. This allows us to offer you a range of machines with contactless payment and management data that can handle rackets, balls, grips, accessories and clothing and deliver your venue an enhanced profit whilst minimising labour costs yet providing great customer service to players.
What unites us, is our origins in the sports we promote; our focus on the players and their needs and our ability to innovate and ‘push the boundaries’ – always driven by high quality outcomes.

Padel and Beach Tennis at the highest level
Performance and reliability from the first to the last shot

Superior Technology
As our patents demonstrate, Quicksand is at the forefront of research into materials and the functional design of rackets. That’s why during the game you get less stress on your wrist and you have perfect control even on the most powerful rackets!

Easy handling
“Power is nothing without control” - nothing more true, especially in a sport where even the smallest variation in the angle of impact is decisive. Our range of rackets enabsles you to choose the balanced racket for your style of play!

Lightness
The weight of the racket is decisive for the power whe4n hitting the ball - it is simple physics. Unless the internal and external structure of the frame is designed accurately - as we do at Quicksand - you will not get the maximum kinetic energy to the ball!

Stability
Without a stable racket, part of the energy is dispersed in the form of involuntary vibrations or bending, losing power and causing stress to the hand, wrist and forearm. If you have not tried Futura 2.0 technology, you do not know what stability and anti-vibration is all about!
Futura 1.0 and Futura 2.0 Antivibration System
The Futura system is a device designed specifically for beach tennis rackets but now integrated into some of our Padel rackets

The Futura system was a device designed over many years specifically for beach tennis rackets. As we branched out into Padel, we were aware of the number of injuries resulting from vibration and we now have developed the Futura system to substantially reduce this negative impact in some our padel rackets.
It allows you to consistently reduce the vibrations caused by continuous impact with the ball, preventing joint trauma to the wrist, elbow and shoulder and, at the same time, maintains the level of playability of the racket very high.
There are two fundamental characteristics of this system: the profile of the tool increases from the usual 18mm to 24mm, the second, more significant, consists of the insertion into the arms that make up the heart of the racket of a ring transformed into a loop for the second series.
The vibrations from the plate towards the handle must necessarily pass through these two channels, the hole of the ring disperses the vibrations so as not to reach the handle and, therefore, also not reach the player’s joints.
